Winter and Snowbirds 2015

I think the only thing I like about this season is that it makes me appreciate spring all the more.

The Dark-eyed Juncos or 'Snowbirds' don't seem to mind the cold though - this is where they end up when they fly south for winter...

  3. Beautiful photos. They look to be such cuties.
But I think that I'd prefer to know them as snowbirds. Juncos sounds too much like most of the cars that I've owned.

  16. Your cute Juncos look a little puffed up from the cold. The Chestnut-sided Juncos here stick around for the winter. I have trouble psychologically with winter too, but try to remember the heat of summer, at least now I can put on a hat and some sweaters and gloves.
